So I wrote this at 5am so bear with me if it's not perfect. I got inspired and so it kinda just went from there. lol Here it is. I want feedback.

The Gap
The hint of love, so bittersweet, the taste still lingering on the tip of his tongue. How could a love so thick, so unique come crashing down leaving nothing but a pining vapour. The pitiful remains haunt his every breath, while every starving thought, yearning, thirsting, drowning without its dose of heroin; not just any heroin, his personal brand. Her. Without her, there would be nothing. Not a single beloved memory playing repetitively in his mind. The fresh air tasting dry and stale, as the colours in his sight start to fade, losing their worth, their beautiful tranquility. The efforts of a foolish boy all come plummeting down; so naive. Time never ceases to quicken or simmer at all the wrong times, like the final kiss he hoped would last forever, or the distance between them dragging out far too long before they finally embraced. Oh, how the world plays its part, how love tricks the mind, and how the sad realization that without it, what would he be? Who would he have become?

Love fuels the soul, devoid of it, the soul has no reason to live, no oxygen to breath, nothing worth the fight. The need to breathe, fight, love, consumes his being. He needs her. Every fiber of his being longs to fill the gaping hole she engraved into his heart when she took her love from him. It would never be the same; never. Without her, there would always be a gap.




I am brutal at conclusions, I know, lol but feedback would be great. haha
